Event Description
Please join Music For Relief and Tree People October 17th as we work together to plant trees in Stenton Ranch Park in Sylmar, CA. In 2008 Sylmar saw two fires that burned over 35,000 acres and displaced some 50,000 people. Between 9am and 12 pm we will reforest the park with 30 trees that will provide shade, oxygen and revitalize a beautiful landscape. Take part in this rewarding experience!

The planting site is a little bit tricky to find. If you are traveling on the 210 to get there, take the Roxford exit, at the end of the ramp make a right turn on Roxford if you were traveling East, if you were traveling West you will make a left turn on Roxford. Then make another right on Foothill, and another right on Glenoaks (taking you underneath the Freeway). On the left you will see a sign for Stetson Ranch Equestrian Park, the sign is next to a dirt road. Make a left onto that dirt road and follow till you reach a dirt parking area. Park here and look for the rest of the Music for Relief and Tree People volunteers.
