Various website and download problems - Haiti album.

The Topspin Customer Support page doesn't work inside either IE8 or Firefox 3 so I have no other avenue to explore beyond this forum for getting a fix to the download problems I am experiencing with the Haiti album.  The link sent by email will no longer let me try to download the album (presumably as I have tried so many times).  On the one occasion that the download seemed to go all the way to the end, Winzip 12 still told me the archive was invalid!
So, whilst the money is going to a good cause and this isn't a regular commercial transaction, I still feel greatly disappointed that I've not been able to get the music promised.  Great idea if it worked...

I had the same issue, only was never able to even begin opening the downloaded file. I continuously received an error message that stated that the compressed (zipped) file was invalid or corrupt. I feel as you do, a good cause, but disconcerting to believe something is going to behave as described, and then it does not.
I sent a note explaining the issue (reporting) to the link at the bottom of the website screens. Good luck.
PEACE
I'm having the same problems.
NONE of the options to respond to Music for Relief or Topspin work. I had to sign up here just to try and get in contact with somebody. How hard is it to include an email address instead of a java form on a webpage.
The download never worked, I got booted out for attempting too many times and I tried with TWO different email addresses and TWO different web browsers.
Great cause, poor implementation. Even the unsubscribe link is broken. haha!
Charity fail.
Marie and Art,
Thank you for confirming that this is more than an individual's issue.
Having left messages both here and on Facebook, I hope this is resolved soon or there'll be even more unhappy users.
A post on Facebook says they're on CNN later talking about the project so there could be an influx of supporters who find they cannot get the music either. I hope that doesn't persuade them that donation isn't a good idea - that'd be a shame.
I dont know if you tried this yet. Open your music for relief zip file>open "download to donate to haiti.zip" file>open "audio tracks">open "mp3" file>open "download to donate to haiti". This will give you the song lists, now highlight all the songs and right click and select "copy to specified folders". Now you should be able to find the song list where you stored it.

The archive is corrupted so one may not perform any operations on it to extract files - it cannot be opened.
I have just downloaded a fresh copy of the archive using a second email address and it's intact!
I guess they re-did the archive when they added the tenth track.
Excellent - I now have the album and have imported it into iTunes (the import program looks as if it imports everything from the origin folder, not just the Haiti tracks so beware or you may get duplicates in your library.)
Hope everyone else soon has their desired music.
Tried it again and it worked. Looks like the problems are fixed. Good luck everyone and don't forget to donate!
:)
I've yet to be able to download the music. I've been trying since yesterday. I have tried two mail addresses and I haven't gotten a link yet.
I, too, am having trouble downloading the album. When I try it tells me I have the wrong version of Mac OS-X...not overly helpful, really.

Good Luck

Finally got my email with the music files-- I got multiple emails actually. I suppose the organization was overload with download requests that it took a few days.
