Various website and download problems - Haiti album.

The Topspin Customer Support page doesn't work inside either IE8 or Firefox 3 so I have no other avenue to explore beyond this forum for getting a fix to the download problems I am experiencing with the Haiti album.  The link sent by email will no longer let me try to download the album (presumably as I have tried so many times).  On the one occasion that the download seemed to go all the way to the end, Winzip 12 still told me the archive was invalid!
So, whilst the money is going to a good cause and this isn't a regular commercial transaction, I still feel greatly disappointed that I've not been able to get the music promised.  Great idea if it worked...

I was trying to make a joke since those songs seem to be a problem for most. I thought you could download directly from the link on the main page you'd just get the email "please donate" sent to you and download again.

May I ask if you used the executable to add to Itunes or that you dragged and dropped to a place your music program looks for music. Since there's been no update download #3 the chance you'd have any more luck with someone else's copy are slim.

Can you post any errors that occur when you try to play these songs? Just also make sure that if you click properties for the song and follow the link that the song is where your player thinks it is. All songs exist in both supposed old link and follow up link I've tried playing both.

You could always go to the site that probably got you here and preview them Which would be The main music for relief page

Hello,

I wanted to download all music tracks from "donate for Haiti", but number 3 and 9 don't work. I can't open und listen to them. I won't donate bevor being able to listen to all of the songs. so where is the mistake? I tried four or more times to download.

greetings
This is the files name "Music For Relief -- Download to Donate for Haiti.zip" if you haven't used search. If you haven't cleared your cookies and used Internet explorer there may be a copy in that folder. The default otherwise for downloads would probably be the downloads folder if you have vista("can't remember if xp has the same setup up right now")

If you used fire fox, there is a selection on the menu bar in tools->Downloads . It keeps track of all the downloads that you download through it and you should be able to use your mouse and right click to open where the file is or at least find out the drives name and dig it up.

If you do find the file , maybe you saved it to a fat 32 flash drive and should drag the zip file onto your pc which is probably ntfs which shouldn't give you the file to large error. I usually format flash drive in ntfs but its not compatible with programs like linux ("and macs with protest").

If i confused you Sigrid let me know and I'll try to fill in the blank.
I'd think paypal supports check or direct account transfer

I took 25 seconds and found the mailing address for writing checks to this cause.

I'm having problems with Track #3 and no track #4 is coming through. Please help.
Just for anyone that may have been having a problem with media info on the files, apparently windows (at lleast vista) does not like the fact that the media info is tagged in ID3 version 2.4 , which is why its not shown. If you dust off itunes and find the haiti files in there just highlight them right mouse click

change id3 tags and make them 2.3
and the media info pops up

I did find itunes doesn't know what to make of the cd and seems to group by their artist and not by album and since zune put them together fine I'm not going into details of find out how to change them if I do find out.
Thanks Chris, my main computer is Vista thats why I couldn't find them so downloaded via firefox on netbook onto memory key then played them via removable disc file on vista.

Just for anyone that didn't find out why thier music looked like multiple albums in Itunes or where ever , I just tripped over it. Just change the album artist to to albums title.

I do have one funk to not that I tried to add the 4 additional songs to items by adding them with file>add files and they don;t seem to have been added to the itunes collection, but they seem to have popped up though zune found them with no problem. Only other expected problem as listed above with tagging being a bother as with the id3 tag(which does not anyway list year genre, and composer and conducter).

These are major bands and it would be great if they could tag in version that could be read by the most players (as is currently as I see 2.3) before giving to any cause, may it be a charitable need or a feature length movie.

This problem still persists... the 4 new songs cannot be downloaded as led to :(
I am unable to download the 4 new tracks either from IE 8 or FF 3.6. I am getting

Download Unavailable

Looks like the file you tried to download is currently unavailable. This could be a temporary issue, so try again in a little while. Contact Customer Support if this problem continues.
Maybe they got a better response then MFR expected. try again if not get a download program like "get-right" or "bit-comet" (it does html downloads not just torrents) Maybe your connections cutting out during the download or connection to the site

Update :Crud yeah guess they hit their maximum I got the error too.

You could always contact their customer service or send email to MFR
Somebody is screwing with your website to block donations from being received. I place card info. about 6 times, with nonsense feedback blocking it being processed. PLEASE FIX QUICKLY!!!
