Globally, 1.3 billion people live without access to electricity.To address this issue we are partnering with Uncharted Play, a social enterprise that designs and manufactures the SOCCKET, an energy generating soccer ball. Designed to amplify natural play behavior, the SOCCKET provides households with a safe and reliable power light source that is also a lot of fun! Kicking the SOCCKET around for 30 minutes provides up to 3 hours of light to help students with homework, gives parents visibility to cook, and illuminates homes to give families security and time together.

Music for Relief has joined with the UN Foundation to bring aid to Haiti through Download to Donate v2.0.
Specifically, the United Nations Foundation connects people, ideas, and resources, to help the UN solve global problems. By connecting to UN Foundation campaigns, supporters help reduce child mortality, empower women and girls, create a new energy future, secure peace and human rights, and promote technology innovation to improve health outcomes. Download To Donate users will help keep the women and children of Haiti safe at night by providing solar-powered lights in the tent camps through UN agency partners.

Charity: water is a non-profit organization, which brings clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. In four years, charity: water has funded 3,811 water projects to serve nearly 1.7 million people in 17 countries with access to clean water.
MFR joined with Direct Relief International to help transport critically needed medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to Harare Hospital Zimbabwe during the cholera outbreak in January of 2009. We are currently partnering to support small Haiti-based nonprofit organizations working in education and reconstruction in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake as part of Download to Donate for Haiti v2.0.
MFR has also teamed up with PIH in the Download to Donate campaign; together, these organizations are raising funds to bring medical relief to devastated areas in Haiti.
PIH works in 12 countries around the world to provide quality health care to people and communities devastated by joint burdens of poverty and disease. PIH has been providing vital health care services in Haiti for more than 20 years and is the largest health care provider in the country.
is a Nonprofit conservation organization, aiming to protect, restore and enhance the natural capital of trees and forests. MFR has partnered with this organization for multiple philanthropic events in recent years. In 2007, 2008, 2009, MFR donated funds raised from Linkin Park ticket sales to plant trees in North America.
MFR partners with Tree People to plant trees in Sylmar, CA following the 2008 Sylmar wildfires and to care for these trees for the long term. Together, these organizations have planted over 100 trees in Stetson Ranch Park. TreePeople gives Music for Relief volunteers the unique opportunity to personally plant the trees, unlike other organizations that plant trees themselves.
MFR worked with Shanghai Roots and Shoots in 2008, planting trees in the Inner Mongolian desert.

Music for Relief has an ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity that began in 2005 for tsunami recovery and continues today with the MFR Green Home in Los Angeles. During the last 5 years we’ve worked together to build countless homes in the U.S. Gulf Coast, as well as Chile and Haiti following the 2010 earthquakes.
