This past Sunday the deadliest tornado since 1925 hit Joplin, Missouri.  The twister had winds of 200 mph, and was given the second highest rating assigned based on amount of damage caused.  Our thoughts are with the families who've been impacted by this tragedy.

It's been over two months since the earthquake and tsunami devastated Japan, but recovery efforts are far from over.  The death toll has reached 14,435, and 12,026 are still missing.
