3. Ask your friends for donations. Your page will walk you through ways to promote your cause via Facebook, Twitter or email.

IF YOU'VE ALREADY STARTED, HERE'S WHAT TO DO NEXT:

1. Go to your page and click "ASK FOR DONATIONS"

2. Send a post to all of your friends via Facebook, Twitter or Google+

3. Click on "send a message" to send direct messages to your friends on twitter, facebook and other networks asking them to donate.

4. Click on the "send e-mail" tab to email friends, family and coworkers. Just click 'add contacts' to add an email address, and then click 'send' to deliver the message.
