LUPE FIASCO and KENNA wrote and recorded the song specifically for Music for Relief's DOWNLOAD TO DONATE FOR HAITI, to aid the nation of Haiti following the magnitude-7.0 earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince on January 12th. The track was produced by Linkin Park’s MIKE SHINODA, the video was directed by Illusive Media.‘ Kenna describes Resurrection as a triumphant song recognizing that the Haitian people will prevail, while at the exact same time acknowledging that they still need our support.
